Frequently Asked Questions

What is Mix and Math 360°?

Mix and Math 360° is an online program for 4th and 5th grade math teachers who are looking to deepen their understanding of the math concepts they teach and learn how to effectively use math manipulatives in a way that builds students' conceptual understanding.

What is included in Mix and Math 360°?

All members of Mix and Math 360° have on-demand access to a library of concept-specific videos that walk teachers through each individual concept taught in 4th and 5th grade. These videos serve two purposes: to build teachers' understanding of the concepts they teach and show them how manipulatives and visual representations can be used to build students' understanding of these concepts.

Teachers also have access to thoughtfully-designed student resources that focus on building conceptual understanding and target intentionally selected learning goals. The resources do not make up a complete curriculum. Instead, they are meant to supplement any curriculum by providing additional opportunities for students to learn through highly engaging, hands-on learning experiences.

Lastly, Mix and Math 360° members are invited to join a members-only online community of 4th and 5th grade teachers, interventionists, and coaches whose math teaching philosophies align. Our private Facebook group is a place for members to ask questions, receive feedback, collaborate, attend live professional development sessions, and gain inspiration.

Sometimes this happens when you're connected to a school-owned private network, software, or hardware.

We know that it may have only just started, whereas it was working perfectly a week ago. Keep in mind that your school may have made changes or updates to its internet security.

Important questions to ask yourself:

  • Are you logging in from a school device at school?

  • Are you logging in from a school device at home?

  • Are you logging in from a personal device at school?

  • Are you able to log in from a personal device on your home network?

If any of the issues are connected to something happening at school (whether it be the network OR the computer, itself), your school likely has a firewall blocking our content.

Your IT team will need to approve or whitelist the sites we run in order to access and view at school. Please let your IT department know that the following domains can be added to the whitelist.
